Receive-only decoding, DX mapping and reception logging for SDR++, SDR++Brown and now SDR# (SDR Sharp).
Downloads
- SDR++ / SDR++Brown:
installer-macos-arm64.dmgormacos-arm64.zipfor Apple Silicon, macOS 15 or later. The installer is Developer ID signed and notarized. - SDR# Windows preview:
sdrsharp-windows-x64-preview.zipfor the x64 .NET 9 host on Windows 11. Extract the full ZIP, close SDR#, runInstall.cmdand selectSDRSharp.dotnet9.exe. - Prefer copying files yourself? The README and installation guide include exact folders and manual registration steps for both platforms.
- Corresponding project source, Windows runtime source packages and SHA-256 checksums accompany this release.
Changes
- Add the SDR# adapter and separate native decoder window, sharing the existing map, filters, tables, countries, history and settings.
- Support FT8, FT4, WSPR, FST4/FST4W, Q65 and JS8 through isolated decoder workers. FT8, FT4 and WSPR start enabled.
- Keep reception running when the decoder window closes; Open restores current data while the radio is playing.
- Use SDR#'s native DSP on private IQ copies, bounded capture queues and worker deadlines. Stop/retune/gaps invalidate incomplete captures; host exit cleans up workers.
- Fix startup preference saving that could replace the configured CSV path before stored settings loaded.
- Update installation, supported-app and feedback documentation. The opening lists SDR apps; platform requirements are in Download and install.
Validation
Windows tests cover all seven decoder modes, worker recovery/cancellation, Unicode history paths, CSV/SQLite deletion, GridTracker UDP and installer integrity/upgrades. The actual SDR# 1.0.0.1921 host decoded an FT8 IQ fixture in Windows 11 ARM64 under x64 emulation; closing/reopening preserved background reception. Live RF sensitivity and online map tiles in that VM were not validated. macOS regression checks passed for both hosts and the sanitizer build. Synthetic reception records were removed from the isolated test profiles.
