- Stalled sync warning (#494, follow-up to #493). Gitea and Forgejo accept a mirror sync request with a 200 and queue it, so a stuck mirror queue used to look like a working sync while commits and releases stopped arriving. gitea-mirror now checks on each sync whether Gitea ran the previous request, using the repository's last mirror run time it already reads, so it adds no API calls. A request Gitea has not run after an hour gets a warning in the Activity Log that points at Site Administration > Monitoring > Queues > mirror in Gitea, and a notification through the Sync errors switch, at most one every six hours.
Changes
- The Dashboard's Repositories and Recent Activity lists run down to the bottom of the screen instead of stopping at eight rows, so a large screen shows more and a small one fewer (#495). They follow the window as it is resized.
Fixed
- Organization cards no longer cut off their Gitea and GitHub buttons on large screens (#495). Cards are a little wider now, and a longer label such as Forgejo moves the buttons onto a second line.
Notes
- The stalled sync check only covers syncs gitea-mirror requests, on its schedule or from Sync. A mirror left only to Gitea's own interval is not checked.
No action needed. As always, back up your Gitea before upgrading.
