github RayLabsHQ/gitea-mirror v3.47.0

latest release: v3.48.0

Features

  • Storage page (#480, #479). A new Storage page in the sidebar shows how much space your mirrors take on the destination: the total, Git + LFS, release assets and how many mirrors are measured, bars by destination owner and for the largest repositories, and a table you can sort, search and filter by owner. A repository whose release assets are most of its size gets a hint that a lower release limit removes the oldest releases on the next sync. The same numbers are available from GET /api/storage. Thanks to @MajMcCloud for the idea and the first design.

Notes

  • Sizes are recorded during syncs, from responses the sync already fetches (the destination repository lookup and the destination release listing), so this adds no requests to GitHub or to your destination.
  • The page starts empty after the upgrade and fills in as each repository syncs. The Git + LFS size is read before the sync pulls, so it trails by one sync. Release asset sizes are recorded for repositories that mirror releases.
  • Only Gitea and Forgejo destinations are measured. Mirrors pushed to GitHub or GitLab do not appear on the page.
  • The database gets four new columns on the repositories table at startup (migration 0021).

No action needed. As always, back up your Gitea before upgrading.
