v2.2.7
New
- Quick Start Guide — new "Quick Start" button in the toolbar opens a comprehensive guide covering:
- Step-by-step setup (select game, install ReShade, install RenoDX, choose shaders)
- Frame limiters with VRR-friendly FPS targets by refresh rate (60/120/165/240/360Hz)
- DLSS/Streamline updates and automatic version detection
- NVIDIA driver settings (VSync, Low Latency, Smooth Motion, ReBAR)
- RTX HDR for games without RenoDX mods
- Vulkan game handling and admin requirements
- Drag-and-drop for adding games, addons, and ReShade presets
- Full Refresh troubleshooting for missing games or changed install locations
- System tray features and quick-launching recent games
Changes
- RTX HDR now defaults to Saturation -25 when first enabled (previously 0/neutral). Reduces the oversaturation that RTX HDR tends to introduce.
- RTX HDR Middle Grey slider now shows perceived paperwhite nits in parentheses, e.g. "Middle Grey: 26 (121 nits)". Set your Peak Brightness, click Auto, and the Middle Grey + perceived nits are calculated automatically using the ITU formula. Updates when contrast/gamma changes.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed games with named mods from Discord incorrectly showing "Reinstall UE-Extended" instead of "Download from Discord". When a named addon file is on disk (e.g. from a Discord drag-drop) but no wiki entry exists, the card now correctly shows the Discord link button instead of the generic UE install button.
Manifest Updates
- Added engine tag for Halo: The Master Chief Collection (
Halo Engine). - Added DX11 API override for Grim Dawn.
