v1.9.9

New Features

  • UE-Extended overhaul — The UE-Extended toggle now appears on ALL Unreal Engine games (including those with named mods). When installing UE-Extended, RHI automatically configures reshade.ini for native HDR (Set_Path=0, all Upgrade keys off) and deploys Engine.ini HDR settings to the game's AppData config folder. A new "Config" button in the detail panel opens the config folder directly. If the game has an in-game HDR setting, enable that too. RHI only adds missing keys to reshade.ini — if you previously configured SDR upgrade values (e.g. Upgrade Path on, format upgrades on), those won't be overwritten automatically. To reset: delete reshade.ini from the game folder and click the INI deploy button next to ReShade to generate a fresh one. For users who prefer upgrading SDR instead of native HDR: set "Upgrade Path" to On in RenoDX Advanced Settings and remove the HDR lines from Engine.ini via the Config button.
  • DLSS Render Scale Override — Force a custom DLSS render resolution per-game for both SR and Ray Reconstruction. Choose from named presets (DLAA, Quality, Performance, etc.) or enter any custom percentage. Not compatible with OptiScaler.
  • DLSS Fix auto-configuration (beta) — When the DLSS Fix addon is deployed, reshade.ini is automatically configured with the correct DLSSPath and StreamlinePath for each game. Only activates for games with Streamline detected. Settings are removed when DLSS Fix is uninstalled.
  • Ryubing emulator support — Drag Ryujinx.exe into RHI to add Ryubing. Install RenoDX downloads all 9 Souperman9 Switch game addons in one click. Addons self-detect which game is running — no swapping needed. Requires RenoVK in the Custom ReShade folder.
  • Luma + RenoDX coexistence — Games in the manifest lumaRenodxCompat list can now have both Luma and RenoDX installed simultaneously. Useful for Luma mods that only add DLSS/upscaling but not HDR.

Improvements

  • Shader pack list reorganized: Recommended slimmed to 4 HDR-relevant packs (crosire master, PumboAutoHDR, clshortfuse, MaxG2D Simple HDR), all others moved to Extra, sorted alphabetically. Added crosire reshade-shaders (legacy) pack.
  • About page overhauled: updated description, added RE Framework and OptiScaler credits/links, removed outdated disclaimer.
  • Uninstall cleanup: ReShade now removes reshade.ini/log files, ReLimiter removes relimiter.ini/log/csv files.
  • Anti-cheat warning updated to include DLSS/Streamline modifications.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Batch DLSS Deploy hanging indefinitely on stalled downloads (120s timeout added).
  • Fixed DLSS On-Screen Indicator toggle causing an infinite UAC prompt loop on cancel.
  • Fixed DLSS presets and render scale not applying for profiles matched by title/fuzzy match — game exe now auto-registered in NVIDIA profile.
  • Fixed OptiScaler uninstall deleting the game's DLSS DLLs when no .original backup existed.
  • Fixed RenoDX Info button not showing wiki status badge for games with wiki entries but no notes text.
  • Fixed manually added games not detecting DC, OptiScaler, DXVK, or DLSS/Streamline until Refresh.
  • Fixed managed addons (DLSS Fix, DevKit) never auto-updating due to rolling "snapshot" tag.
  • Fixed INI merge button not applying [renodx] UE-Extended section when mod was already installed.
  • Fixed Luma install warning popping up during Update All.

Manifest Updates

  • Added 17+ games to native HDR list (Black Myth Wukong, Avowed, Lies of P, Returnal, Gothic 1 Remake, Star Trek: Voyager, etc.)
  • Added Ultra+ HDR toggle notes for 13 games.
  • Added engineIniPathOverrides for games with non-standard AppData folders.
  • Persona 5 Royal — added to lumaRenodxCompat, removed from wikiUnlinks.
  • Updated RE Framework game notes — removed external download links (now bundled).
  • Removed 'set Upgrade Path to Off' from all game notes — RHI handles this automatically.
  • Neverness To Everness — dllNameOverride (ReShade as d3d12.dll).
  • Outward — split into Outward (original) + Outward Definitive Edition.
