| 🔍 A much sharper picture | The pixelated look is fixed. Each eye now gets only the part of the picture the headset shows, at full resolution, plus a margin for turning your head. You can choose the margin under Picture quality. |

| 🥽 Your headset | A new choice at the top of the start-up window: Meta Quest 3, 3S, 2 and Pro, Pico 4, PlayStation VR2, Valve Index, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality. It sets the field of view (120 by default) and the controller type for you. You can still change both. |

🔧 Also fixed
- Settings are now found and saved when the RushVR folder's path has square brackets in it (
RushVR [0.5], say). Before, every choice fell back to its default. - European release (CUSA02350): it now gets the same clock fix as the US one, so its captions should stay in sync with the voice. This is untested on a European copy, so please tell me how it goes.
- Picture size sent to the headset is now Full size for the Low, Medium and High presets.
- Holding Start for a second still resets the view with any controller type.
🚀 Getting started
- Download
RushVR.exebelow and start it. - Show it where your game is: the game folder or the
.pkg. - Pick your headset, a picture quality, and DualSense or Move controllers.
- Press Play.
Note
- A PS VR2 needs Sony's PC adapter and SteamVR: pick SteamVR as the connection.
- With Move controllers, unplug the DualSense first, and squeeze the grip at the game's controller question.
- Windows may warn about an unknown publisher, because the file is not signed: choose More info, then Run anyway. Updating keeps your settings and saves.
Known problems
- The game can close by itself now and then (seen once, after a save). This is being looked at.
- Small stutters now and then. The player's arms can look dark in the intro.
- Only the Meta Quest 3 and its controllers have been tested. Other headsets and controllers are untested.
- Levels 5 and later are untested.
