pre-release2 hours ago

RushVR 0.5.0

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood in VR on a Windows PC, shown in a Quest 3 through Virtual Desktop.

EVERYTHING WILL BE OUT FOR FREE AT THE v1.0 RELEASE

Important

Bring your own copy of the game (US release CUSA03683, version 1.00), dumped from your own PS4. No game files are included.

✨ What's new

🎮 Quest controllers for everyone The Motion edition is now part of the free release, with no licence file. Your Quest controllers play as the game's two PlayStation Move wands: trigger shoots, grip is the Move button, and sliders set the aim angle, reach and turning.
⚡ Experimental 90 and 120 fps Two new Aim for choices. In testing, the captions and animations kept their speed and the ride felt at most a touch faster now and then. You need a fast PC to get near 120; 60 stays the default.

🚀 Getting started

  1. Download RushVR.exe below and start it.
  2. Show it where your game is: the game folder or the .pkg.
  3. To use Quest controllers: unplug the DualSense, switch on Quest controllers as Move wands in the Controllers card, then squeeze the grip at the game's controller question.
  4. Press Play.

Note

Windows may warn about an unknown publisher because the file is not signed: choose More info, then Run anyway. Updating keeps your settings and saves.

Known problems

  • The picture can look soft or pixelated in places.
  • Small stutters now and then.
  • The player's arms can look dark in the intro.
  • The game sometimes stops after level 1.
  • Levels 5 and later are untested, and the Quest controller support has been tried by one person on one Quest 3.
