This release adds a customizable desktop keyboard and trackpad for controlling your PC from the stream.
Combined keyboard and trackpad — local Android preview.
- Keyboard & mouse panel: Open stream menu → Input → Keyboard & mouse, then choose Keyboard, Trackpad, or Combined. Combined mode adapts to wide and narrow screens.
- Desktop keys and shortcuts: Letters and numbers, Ctrl/Alt/Shift/Win, F1–F12, navigation, punctuation, a number pad, and shortcuts such as Task Manager, Switch window and Show desktop.
- Trackpad controls: Move the pointer with one finger, scroll with two, tap to click, and use the mouse buttons to drag or right-click.
- Customize inside the stream: Adjust key and panel sizes, opacity, pointer speed, scrolling, mouse buttons, visible keyboard banks and saved shortcuts. Panel settings are saved on each device.
- Phone keyboard stays separate: The stream menu's Phone keyboard action opens Android's keyboard. Held mouse buttons are released when the desktop panel closes, loses focus or disconnects.
Install nightjar-0.7.7.apk over your current installation to keep paired PCs and settings. The -root.apk is the legacy rooted build for Android 5.0–7.1. The AAB and SHA-256 checksums are also included.
