Nightjar 0.7.4 makes AV1 streams fill the screen at sizes the PC's encoder pads.
Fixed
- AV1 padding. AMD GPUs encode AV1 at widths divisible by 64, so a Galaxy Z Fold's 2184×1968 inner screen arrives 2240 wide. Phones whose decoder doesn't crop that padding showed it as a strip on the right, with the picture squeezed, so touch and the Local cursor drifted away from the PC's pointer towards that edge. Nightjar now hides the padding off-screen: the stream fills the screen and the cursor stays on the PC's pointer.
Trackpad, Local cursor and mouse speed can be set from 25 to 400 % under Settings → Input.
Install
Nightjar 0.7.1 and newer offer this update themselves (Settings → App → Check for updates now). Otherwise install nightjar-0.7.4.apk (Android 5.0 or newer); it updates earlier versions in place and keeps your PCs, pairings and settings. nightjar-0.7.4-root.apk is the legacy variant for rooted Android 5–7.1. SHA256SUMS-0.7.4.txt lists the checksums.
If something breaks, Settings → App → Report a problem creates a log you can attach to an issue.
