Nightjar 0.7.3 fixes pairing that failed without a message when you left the app during pairing.
Fixed
- Pairing keeps going in the background. Leaving Nightjar to type the PIN into the host's web page on the same phone, or the screen turning off on the way to the PC, cancelled pairing: the host accepted the PIN, but the PC stayed unpaired and no error appeared. Pairing now continues, and its result is shown when you come back.
Includes 0.7.2's decode-time average that matches Artemis's counting.
Install
Nightjar 0.7.1 and newer offer this update themselves (Settings → App → Check for updates now). Otherwise install nightjar-0.7.3.apk (Android 5.0 or newer); it updates earlier versions in place and keeps your PCs, pairings and settings. nightjar-0.7.3-root.apk is the legacy variant for rooted Android 5–7.1. SHA256SUMS-0.7.3.txt lists the checksums.
If something breaks, Settings → App → Report a problem creates a log you can attach to an issue.
