Rubylight 0.4.2 fixes a path where selecting an unpaired PC produced no visible response while discovery polling or a host status request was still pending. The PIN dialog now opens immediately, before those checks finish.
Android version 0.4.2, versionCode 319. The APK contains arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86 and x86_64, and uses the same release signing certificate as 0.4.1. The app bundle and SHA-256 checksums are also included.
Validation:
- 782 non-root and 787 root Android unit tests passed, including new regressions for delayed polling, delayed host responses, cancellation and retry.
- Both release APK flavors and the non-root app bundle built successfully. Release lint completed without errors; non-blocking warnings remain.
- The exact signed release APK passed an Android emulator upgrade from 0.4.1 while retaining a saved PC. A local host fixture verified PIN display while polling was blocked, Cancel, host-error guidance, retry and cancellation when leaving the screen. No app crashes were recorded.
- APK signing continuity, APK alignment, AAB signature, all four APK ABIs, version metadata and embedded source revision d9c0fb2 were verified.
- GitHub CI for this release commit passed.
Issue #2 remains open for confirmation on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Odin 2 Portal. Physical-device and live-host pairing were not verified. The separately reported host connection error still needs device/host logs; this release does not claim to resolve its cause.
