NOTE: There is a known issue with Windows + AMD drivers.
If you are on Windows with an AMD GPU and run into stuttering issues / crashing, make sure your GPU driver is up to date and make the following configuration change to force using Vulcan.
Go to %LocalAppData%/DK64Recompiled/graphics.json
then switch "api_option": "Auto", to "api_option": "Vulkan",
