Patch Changes

perf: in atomics mode, main thread responses go through the shared buffer as utf-8 bytes instead of one 4-byte slot per character, roughly 3–20x faster and up to 4x less memory, and a response larger than the buffer's 1GB limit now returns an error instead of a cut, unparsable response (by @Varixo in #803)
-
🐞🩹 in atomics mode, the worker no longer blocks forever when the main thread doesn't answer: a blocking main access now times out like the service worker's (10s, 120s in debug), and the late response is dropped instead of being read by the next request (by @Varixo in #802)
-
🐞🩹 don't read
window.fencewhile reading the main window's members — in Chrome, reading it triggers the "FencedFrame" deprecation that Lighthouse reports under "Uses deprecated APIs", which skippingHTMLFencedFrameElementin #788 did not cover (by @Varixo in #801) -
🐞🩹 when the service worker can't find the sandbox of the tab a request came from, e.g. right after that tab closed or navigated, it now answers
NoPartyinstead of sending the request to another tab's sandbox, which returned that page's DOM. Sandboxes loaded by a snippet older than tab ids (#573) still go to the latest one (by @Varixo in #805)
