ChoralRoot 0.21 is a small release for the chorus: turning Depth no longer pops or crackles, and the Chorus page has
a Width knob for the stereo spread that 0.19 introduced. Left alone, the chorus sounds exactly as it did in 0.20.
Updating from 0.20 keeps your settings, sounds and loops.
- The chorus no longer pops or crackles while you turn Depth. Until 0.20 every step of the Depth knob made a
small click under a held sound. Now the chorus slides to the new setting in about a twentieth of a second. With
the knobs left alone the chorus sounds exactly as it did in 0.20. - Chorus Width, on KNOB 3 of the Chorus page (hold FX, SELECT to Chorus). The chorus has been stereo since 0.19;
Width sets how far it spreads: 127, where it starts, is the full spread of 0.19 and 0.20, 0 is one chorus in the
middle, the same in both ears. It turns as smoothly as Depth and is kept with the other effect settings when you
hold SAVE.
Going back to 0.20
0.20 and 0.19 have no Width: their chorus is always the full spread, and they ignore the Width stored by 0.21
(nothing else is lost or reset). If you hold SAVE while on the older version, the stored Width is dropped, and 0.21
starts at 127 again when you come back.
