This is the QIDIStudio V02.06.00.51 version. This version synchronizes the features of BambuStudio v02.06.00.51 and, on this basis, adds some new features and fixes known issues.
Features
- When importing 3mf models not created in QIDIStudio, the printer and materials in the file are automatically replaced.
- Switching printers (of the same type) on the Print Plate page will automatically synchronize and match materials.
- Added an "Exclude Objects" function to the Device Control Page (currently only supports X-Max 4, requires updating to the latest firmware version).
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that could cause the software to crash when importing non-QIDI 3mf models.
- Fixed a bug where the "activate Enable Polar Cooler" command was still sent during print sending even if the device had no air conditioning.
- Fixed a bug where printer configuration changes became invalid after modifying and saving the configuration, then restarting the software.
- Fixed a bug where user configuration names containing special characters could not be processed correctly.
- Fixed a bug where the symbol "." in G-code was changed to "," in some language environments.
- Fixed a bug where the printer connection page was still displayed after deleting a printer device.
- Fixed a bug where the Stop Print/Pause Print buttons on the Device Control Page were unresponsive.
- Fixed a bug causing stuttering when scrolling the Models/Time-lapse File List on the Device Page.
Miscellaneous
- Optimized some print configuration parameters.
- The "Expert Mode" is now set to "off" by default when adding a printer.
- Optimized the UI display of the Device Page in Mac OS systems.
- Optimized some logic related to device connection and information synchronization.
Note for Linux Users
- Due to a conflict with WebKit in Linux, the software may crash. It is recommended to manually add the port number 7125 when adding a device. For printers with older firmware, you can access the printer through Fluidd in a browser.
- For printers supporting newer firmware (e.g., X-Max 4), not checking the "Expert Mode" when adding a device and displaying the Device Control Page can avoid the software crash issue caused by the WebKit bug. The Device Control Page also allows printer control.
