v2.5.4
A polish-and-fixes release. Light theme support, smarter tooltips, a
big quality-of-life pass on the Profile editor, and a follow-up on
last release's TRUSTED_PROXIES hostnames work.
New
-
Light theme. A second built-in theme that follows your OS
setting by default. Switch in Settings → Display, or pick System
to match your OS. Cross-browser parity fixes baked in. -
Quality items always reorderable. Drag-and-drop to change the
order of qualities in a profile no longer requires opening Edit
Groups first. Drop on a gap reorders; drop on another row still
needs Edit Groups (that's the merge-into-group action).
Changed
-
Profile Detail "Customize" toggle. One global toggle replaces
the per-section "Hide overrides" toggles. Off = clean
"All values follow profile defaults" view; On = full editor with
all override controls visible. Auto-on if you've already saved
overrides on the rule. -
Tooltips. Switched from native browser tooltips to a custom
system that flips around viewport edges so long messages no longer
get cut off at the screen edge. Also positions correctly when
you've set a non-100% UI Scale in your browser. -
"Additional Custom Formats" picker (renamed from "Extra").
Card design now matches the Groups section, CFs you've added
group by source (mirroring how you picked them), and stay visible
with an orange highlight after Add. -
Sync log entries show how many overrides and score-overrides
were applied per sync — easier to see at a glance what changed. -
TRaSH pull operations log a per-app diff summary after each
pull (CFs added/removed, profiles added/removed, naming changes,
quality size changes). First place to look when something behaves
differently after a pull.
Fixed
-
TRUSTED_PROXIESwith hostnames in docker-compose. Follow-up
to v2.5.3's hostname support: setups where docker-compose service
names weren't resolving from inside the Clonarr container now work.
Closes the docker-compose half of #40. -
Instance Test no longer rejects DNS hostnames that resolve
to a mix of routable and non-routable IPs — common with Tailscale
and dual-stack setups. The check now requires all resolved IPs
to be blocked before refusing. -
Quality "phantom overrides". Just opening the Edit Quality
modal no longer persists a Quality override on the sync rule.
An override is now only saved when you actually change something. -
Naming page example labels. "Movie:" no longer shows up in
Sonarr's Episode / Series / Season sections — each section uses
its own example label. -
Dark theme legibility. Muted labels are easier to read now,
especially in the Profile editor and sync history.
Under the hood
- Internal UI code reorganized into smaller, easier-to-maintain
pieces. No user-facing change — sets the foundation for future
UI work.

PR #41 (UI modularization), PR #42 (light theme + cross-browser
parity), and PR #43 (DNS hostname fix). Big help across this release.
