The first public release of WWE 2K14 Recomp: an unofficial static recompilation of the Xbox 360 version of WWE 2K14 for 64-bit Windows and Linux.
You must supply your own game files. Nothing from the game is included: no default.xex, title update, assets, DLC or saves. You need your own Xbox 360 copy of WWE 2K14 and Title Update 1.0.3.
Download
Download WWE2K14-Recomp-v1.0.0-x64.zip below and extract it to a normal folder such as Documents or Desktop (not C:\Program Files). Then start WWE 2K14 Launcher.exe, or Linux-x86_64/wwe2k14-launcher on Linux. The README explains every step.
What's included
- Launcher: add your game folder or disc image, install the title update and DLC, choose resolution (720p/1080p/1440p), display mode and graphics card, change keyboard controls, add custom music, and back up or restore saves.
- Automatic updates: from now on the launcher tells you when a new version is out and installs it with one click. It only replaces program files; your game files, saves, settings and music stay put. You can turn this off in Settings.
- Controller and keyboard play (modern WWE 2K-style keys), plus typing on the in-game keyboard.
- A shader cache for a smoother first start on Windows and Linux.
- Save a Bug Report button that zips logs and settings (no game files or saves) to attach to an issue.
Requirements
- Windows 10/11 64-bit, or Linux (glibc 2.38+, e.g. Ubuntu 24.04)
- A CPU with AVX2
- A dedicated graphics card with up-to-date Vulkan drivers. Integrated graphics are not well supported yet: Intel UHD 630 can show a black picture in entrances and matches, and AMD Radeon 780M laptops run slowly.
Known issues
- Some shadow and lighting differences compared to the console.
- Frame rates can dip in active play on some systems.
- Only Title Update 1.0.3 is supported.
