github ProjectReclaimer/project-reclaimer-releases v0.9.4

Changes

  • Everyone in a game needs 0.9.4. Players and servers on this version can't play with those on 0.9.3 or older; the game says which side needs to update. Hosts and dedicated servers now check the player's version themselves before letting them in, so a player on an older version never reaches the game. Update dedicated servers and players together.

Bug fixes

  • Co-op games no longer fall out of sync over players on another version. Players on 0.9.2 and 0.9.3 could play co-op campaign together, but the two versions place co-op players differently, so the game fell out of sync, paused again and again to bring everyone back in step, and then ended for everyone, often within a minute of the start. Players on different versions can no longer join each other's games.

Install

The game client requires Halo: The Master Chief Collection with Halo 3 installed; no game files are included.

Double-click project-reclaimer-v0.9.4.exe to start the game. It finds Halo 3 in any Steam library and opens without a console window; its log is Documents\My Games\Project Reclaimer\Logs\client.log.

For remote server administration, double-click reclaimer-rcon-v0.9.4.exe, enter the host, RCON port and password, and connect. The RCON client needs no game installation. See the attached RCON.md for setup and commands.
