Suggested interrupt layout (Devices → Affinity)
One click proposes where to place the interrupts of your graphics card, USB controllers, network card and sound card, so they stop competing for the same CPU core.
- One physical core per role (graphics, USB, network, audio), always outside core 0, chosen from your real CPU topology: only P-cores on hybrid Intel CPUs, and the CCD without 3D V-Cache on dual-CCD Ryzen. Network and audio can share a core on CPUs with up to 6 cores.
- Only devices you actually use. Disabled devices, network cards with no link, the HDMI/DisplayPort audio of the graphics card and unused sound cards are left out.
- Audio-aware core choice. The USB controller that carries your DAC or audio interface gets the audio core, as long as no mouse or keyboard shares it. If they do, the preview suggests a free controller.
- A preview you can trust before anything changes. One checkbox per device, what is plugged into each USB controller, a warning for headphones on a front-panel jack, the measured load of the chosen cores, a note on whether Windows already uses the current affinity or needs a restart, and an optional MSI mode (unticked) where the driver supports it. It also warns if a storage controller is pinned to a single CPU.
- Safe to apply and undo. Only the interrupt policy and affinity values are touched, with a single backup and a single elevation prompt. Each device can be restored individually. Network RSS is not changed.
Driver update check
At startup TweakHub now warns you if a driver update has reset the interrupt layout on some devices, so you can reapply it.
Disable unused: better suggestions
The list now also proposes, always unticked, the slower of two live network connections (wired before Wi-Fi, then the fastest link) and audio devices nobody listens to.
External tools
Added NVIDIA VBIOS Vix Editor (GPU & Display), with its warnings shown in the description in all six languages.
