Centralized Feature Detection:

• Unified feature detection across all commands

Priority 6 Fallback to Latest Incomplete Feature:

• Auto-selects highest numbered incomplete feature when running from repo root with no context
• Resolves ambiguity: instead of erroring with "Multiple features found", auto-selects the feature you're most likely working on
• Smart detection: features with all WPs lane: done are considered complete
• Informational message: "Auto-selected latest incomplete: 022-dashboard"
• Benefits all commands (plan/tasks/implement/review) automatically
• Safe defaults: parse errors treat features as incomplete

🐛 Fixed

Agent JSON Output Confusion:

• spec-kitty agent feature finalize-tasks --json now includes:
  • commit_created: boolean (did commit happen?)
  • commit_hash: string (SHA for verification)
  • files_committed: array (what was committed)
• Prevents agents from committing twice when unrelated files are dirty
• ADR-16: Rich JSON Outputs for Agent Commands

Tasks Template Guidance:

• Added warning: "DO NOT commit after finalize-tasks (commits automatically)"
• Clarifies that finalize-tasks handles git commit internally
• Prevents redundant git commit attempts

📚 Documentation

• m_0_13_8_target_branch: Adds target_branch field to all existing features

  • Auto-detects Feature 025 as targeting 2.x (from spec.md content)
  • Defaults to "main" for all other features
  • Safe, non-breaking migration

• m_0_14_0_centralized_feature_detection: Updates to unified detection module

  • No user-visible changes
  • Infrastructure improvement
