Run without a window: nanotorrent --headless. The same program, on Windows,
Linux and macOS, keeps downloading and seeding with no window open - on a
server, a NAS or a machine you reach over SSH - and the web interface is the
way in. Until now that took a separate build. Torrent files and magnet links
can be named after the flag, or opened later: they are added to the running
copy without a dialog, and the console says what was added, what finished
and what failed. Ctrl-C stops it cleanly, as do a service manager's stop and
closing the terminal, so nothing is rechecked on the next start. On Windows,
start it from a terminal as "nanotorrent --headless".The log appears in the console as well as in the log file, and
--log-level sets how much is logged for a run (error, warn, info, debug or
trace) - with or without the window. -
The limits on active downloads, seeds and torrents now apply without the
window too. They were only checked by the window, so the headless build
ignored them. -
Closing NanoTorrent now saves the state of every torrent on the way out, as
it was always meant to. It used to rely on the last automatic save, so what
had happened since could be checked again on the next start. -
Opening a .torrent file from a terminal while NanoTorrent is already running
works with a relative path ("nanotorrent file.torrent"). The running copy
looked for the file in its own folder instead of yours. -
On Windows, the window could come back from being minimised for a while
partly drawn, with other programs showing through it. It is now redrawn in
full when it is restored. -
The libraries NanoTorrent is built on have been updated, with their latest
fixes. -
The GeoIP database (peer country flags) is now downloaded through your proxy
when one is set. It used to connect directly. -
Importing from qBittorrent now also brings over torrents added by a magnet
link in base32 or BitTorrent v2 form, which were skipped as unreadable. -
The Remove dialog and the migration windows now keep the main window
inactive while they are open, like every other dialog.
