Phoenix PoCX Wallet v2.0.4
A focused release that fixes Android memory detection — phones with plenty of RAM were wrongly told they had too little to plot — and rolls up a security patch via the updated PoCX 1.0.5 libraries. Desktop behaviour is unchanged.
✨ New & Fixed
- Android memory detection fixed (#92). On Android, the OS reports a deceptively low "available RAM" (~2–3 GiB even on 6–12 GiB phones) because it keeps memory full of reclaimable cached apps — so the mining setup wizard and the bundled plotter wrongly refused to plot on capable devices. Both now also count free swap (zram / vendor "memory extension") into the budget on Android only, so a device that can genuinely back the working set is no longer rejected. The wizard's Step 2 now shows Available RAM and a new Available Swap line, and the Total turns red only when the requirement actually exceeds RAM + swap. Desktop is untouched (disk swap is intentionally excluded).
🔒 Security
- PoCX libraries updated to 1.0.5 (#92). Brings the Android swap-aware host-memory gate and a transitive security fix:
quinn-protobumped to 0.11.15 for RUSTSEC-2026-0185 (remote memory exhaustion from unbounded out-of-order stream reassembly).
🔧 Maintenance
- Version bump to 2.0.4 (#93).
