- Optional closed-caption reporting. A new setting, Report Closed Captions,
records in the results CSV whether each stream carries closed captions or a
subtitle track. It is off by default. The newffprobe_has_captionscolumn
shows Yes, No, or a blank cell when the check could not decide. It uses the
same ffmpeg decode pass as blank-screen, frozen-video and silent-audio
detection, and it never marks a stream Dead. Yes means caption data is present
in the stream the provider sends, not that the data contains text. An output
profile that passes only video and audio removes a separate subtitle track.
