What's changed in 0.4.2081
- Check the stitched route's steps against Google's line, and fix what that found
- Check the open router's turn names too, and fix what the step list showed
- Check a matched turn's street name against the road it is on
- Map-match the stretches where Google's line leaves the open route
- A turn is named only when the map is sure of the street, and a route that cannot be named stays on Google's line with plain turns
- Driving follows Google's route wherever it differs, with the open router's lane and exit detail where the two agree, and the road name label fits beside the speed readout
- Follows Google around local detours such as road closures, shows only on-route cameras with a route up, and no longer draws a golf course or park twice
- The new Android Auto screens are translated in all sixteen languages
- Stop signs on parallel streets no longer draw during a drive, and alternate routes stand out on the dark map
- Android Auto: zoom buttons no longer slide the map, the voice setting is right on a car-only start, and More nearby is always reachable
- Android Auto: nearby gas, food, coffee, parking and charging on the car's home screen
- Android Auto: Saved and Settings buttons on the car's home screen
- Android Auto: asks for location on the car instead of showing a black map
- Android Auto: recenter and zoom buttons on the home and route preview screens
- Android Auto: the car map pans, pinches and flings the way you expect
- Alternate routes are wider and a clearer blue
- A setting for what a location link from another app does: show the place, open directions, or start navigation
- A typed address is searched across the metro and listed nearest first, and alternate routes are faded blue with an outline (#638)
- A typed street address is found when zoomed in close, and the clock can be set to 12 or 24 hours (#638)
