v0.2.23 — Termux edition (com.termux)

This is the Termux edition of Termux Launcher: package name com.termux, compatible with the upstream Termux package ecosystem. It cannot be installed alongside the official Termux app (same package name). If you want the launcher next to your existing Termux, use the VAJ edition instead: v0.2.23-vaj (package io.vaj.tl).

Added

• Multimodal Gemma 4 (LiteRT) models exposed as modality-scoped OpenAI ids sharing one downloaded file: canonical id = text-only, <id>-vision = text+image, <id>-audio = text+audio. Switching ids reloads the runtime scoped to that modality.
• TAI model import by Hugging Face repo URL with automatic backend detection, per-model modality/capability configuration, and imported/downloaded models listed in Browse Catalog.
• LiteRT embedding runtime, LauncherCtl MCP documentation, and OpenAI Responses / Ollama client compatibility for the local model host.
• Per-key glass refraction, glyph glow feedback, dock-glass grain control, and an Apps & Access settings overhaul.

• New app icon: refreshed to the new cyan→green "termux" gradient mark (launcher, notification, and store icons).
• MNN native libraries updated to 3.6.0 with a UTF-8 continuation-byte patch (fixes emoji/UTF-8 streaming crashes).
• Dock refinements: glow tiers, capsule icon sizing, page indicator, popup behavior, wallpaper-mode dock style.

Fixed

• :tai_runtime now binds with BIND_IMPORTANT so GPU model loads inherit foreground priority and survive Android's low-memory killer during OpenCL init (previously a "crash" loading large models such as Gemma 4 E4B on GPU).
• TAI generation streaming, vision autoload, completions on on-disk models, and a TAI settings ANR.
• Restored dock page swipe, extra-keys text-input swipe, and icon contour/pack precedence.

Quick user help

• After installing the APK, open Termux Launcher once so launcherctl is installed.
• If you already use the optional tmux helpers, run launcherctl update-scripts.
