Maintenance release. No behaviour changes for existing users.
Continuous integration
The repository previously had no test or validation CI — the unit tests only ever ran locally, and nothing checked the integration against Home Assistant's own rules. Every pull request now runs:
- the HACS validation action
- hassfest, Home Assistant's manifest/translation validator
- the unit test suite (88 tests)
Schema fixes
Adding hassfest immediately surfaced five pre-existing violations that had never been checked:
manifest.jsondeclared aniconkey, which is not valid theremanifest.jsonkeys were not in the required order- the
selectortranslations sat underconfiginstead of at the top level config.progress.confirmwas a mapping where a string is requiredbattery_power.state_attributes.directionwas a bare string where a mapping is required
One user-visible consequence: the S-Miles Home authentication error no longer embeds a GitHub URL, since the schema forbids URLs in those strings.
Brand assets
Added brand/icon.png, required for HACS listing. It is a neutral solar graphic rather than the Hoymiles corporate logo — this is an unofficial community integration, and the vendor's trademark is not ours to ship by default.
Discoverability
A submission to the HACS default list is open, which would make this installable directly from HACS search instead of requiring a custom repository. Note that several forks of this repository exist; the canonical one is Philra94/homeassistant-hoymiles-cloud.
