Version 4.20.67 Rev 7

latest releases: v1757639816, rev199, v1757019383...
  • Rev 7: fixed and improved exit key combo (L+R+Start+Down). Updated SystemControl libraries.
  • Rev 6: fixed crash when returning from sleep in some games (i.e. Lego Star Wars II) due to unchecked zero-division error. Improved Disable Analog Stick for some games.
  • Rev 5: improved (classic) recovery menu; better visuals and improved code.
  • Rev 4: you can now boot Custom Launcher in Recovery mode by holding R Trigger when it is loading (essentially turning it into the original ARK Recovery Menu). Added default SETTINGS.TXT file with recommended settings for initial installations.
  • Rev 3: fixed extra XMB icons not showing up on PSP Street models. Fixed Russian translation. Added new Turquoise theme for custom launcher.
  • Rev 2: cleanup of PRO Shell. Fix for PSN games on older launchers. Proper alignment of icon in Custom Launcher.
  • Rev 1: improved API call for detection of toolkits (can now distinguish TestKit from DevKit). Improved launcher menu navigation.
  • Merged Recovery Menu into Custom Launcher, leaving Classic Recovery as the default recovery menu.
  • Updated kernel exploit used on PSP and Adrenaline.
  • Added ability to install plugins using PRO Shell (Classic Recovery Menu).
  • Cleanup and improved VSH Menu.
  • Added ability to hide entries in Advanced VSH Menu by pressing L trigger, use R trigger to unhide all hidden entries.
  • Fixed Import Classic Plugins feature.
  • Fixed issue in plugins manager of classic recovery.
  • Added ability to force open VSH Menu by pressing L+R+Select anywhere in the XMB.
  • Several more cleanup and fixes.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE:
The original Recovery Menu used by ARK has been merged into the Custom Launcher, meaning it will no longer be its own separate app and Classic Recovery Menu will take its place. You can continue to use the original recovery menu by leaving it in the savedata (ARK's updater will not delete any file, only override), but it's recommended to delete it (RECOVERY.PBP) since it will no longer get any updates.
Current ARK code will still allow you to use the original recovery app, but this could change in the future as we will opt for the more standard (and optional) /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP path for external recovery apps.
