Two Adaptive SQM fixes, one for learned profiles that wouldn't redeploy, and Health Checks that keep running when UniFi Network stops answering.
Adaptive SQM
- Fix: redeploying a learned profile failed - a learned profile that shapes upload makes a larger boot script than the gateway would accept in one write, so the redeploy that learning recommends failed with "Failed to deploy 20-sqm-.sh" (#247, thanks @LOOHP for the report and logs). A failed deploy now shows the gateway's reason too. Redeploy Adaptive SQM after upgrading if yours failed.
- Fix: a false "Smart Queues was just enabled" after switching sites - every Smart Queues WAN on the site you switched to read as just enabled, and Deploy was refused until the wait ran out (Multi-Site). The same false wait could follow a moment where the page failed to load the WANs.
Monitoring - Setup
- Health Checks keep running while UniFi Network is down - a check runs against the device's last-known address until UniFi Network lists the device again, so the UniFi Network JVM GC Thrash check can still restart the Network app when that app is the thing not answering.
Installation
Preview builds use a rolling :preview tag. Set it once and future builds - previews and releases - arrive on pull. You no longer need to switch back to :latest when a release ships: :preview gets every release too, so you're always on the newest build.
Docker (assuming you've installed already through the normal procedures listed in v2.8.6 or other releases):

macOS (native, recommended for accurate speed tests vs Docker Desktop). Same command for every preview build. release/2.9 is rebuilt when a release ships, so the reset is what keeps a later update from stopping on a diverged branch - it discards local changes to the checkout:
