The headline this release is deep per-port visibility: a live, timeline-synced statistics table for every switch and gateway port, plus the ability to poll any SNMP OID your gear exposes.
The 1.21 line, recapped
If you're jumping up from 1.21.0 or earlier, here's what landed across that cycle:
- ISP Health grew up - Line-aware scoring (per-technology jitter, fair grading for sprawling regional ISPs), internet-outage detection with a per-hop recovery waterfall, congestion pinned to the exact bottleneck hop, flaky-target detection, and a date/time filter for the whole tab.
- Your network, in motion - Monitoring Interfaces can now reach a modem or ONT that sits behind your WAN, and the 2D/3D LAN maps play back what the network was actually doing (device up/down, Wi-Fi roaming, signal and throughput) live and across the timeline.
- More devices, more visibility - Quantum Fiber Q1000K ONT, Motorola and Realtek modem/ONT fixes, EF-Core and UNVR-G2 support, and sortable mean/min/max stats tables on every monitoring tab.
Monitoring
Live View
- Per-port statistics - A new per-port table below the maps shows link rate (in/out), cumulative bytes transferred (in/out), unicast/multicast/broadcast packet counters, and errors/discards for every SNMP-polled switch and gateway, synced to the map timeline with live updates and historical playback (current support for -24 h but your NO instance is already collecting data for looking even further back). Color-coded RJ45/SFP connector glyphs show negotiated link speed, and each access port links to its connected client's performance dashboard. Includes VPN / tunnel interfaces, raw UniFi 5G / LTE modem interfaces, raw AP Wi-Fi interfaces, and VLAN sub-interfaces.
- Note - On many gateways and APs the raw SNMP stats from the device can be misleading. For example, on UCG-Fiber/UXG-Fiber and other IPQ gateways, the WAN VLAN sub-interface byte counters / rates are double-counted. This is taken into account in our Live views, ISP Health, displayed WAN rates and graphs, but in the raw port table the double-counted data can be seen on these interfaces.
SNMP & Device Stats
- Custom OID polling - Add any SNMP OID per device, test it against the live device, map it to a named field, and it auto-charts on the Device Stats tab with mean/min/max columns. Standard per-port packet counters now poll on the 5s fast tier too.
ISP Health
- Loaded latency, separated from congestion - When every monitored path slows together under load, that's your access link (bufferbloat or a busy shared-access network), not a single ISP hop. It now reads as Loaded Latency and no longer counts against your ISP Health score.
Cable Modem
- Netgear CM700 - Added alongside the CM600 and CM1000, pulling full downstream/upstream power, SNR, and error-correction stats whether your modem requires a login or serves its status page openly.
Security Audit
- Sharper DNS leak detection - More precise detection of DNS that bypasses your configured resolver, reported as clear rule-level findings.
