github Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer v1.16.5

More SFP tweaks improvements and a Wi-Fi Optimizer fix. See v1.16.0 release notes for what's new in v1.16.0+

SFP Tweaks

  • Boot scripts wait for carrier before loading module - SFPs like the Zyxel PMG3000 need ~15 seconds after boot to configure their SerDes for 2.5 G auto-negotiation. The boot scripts now wait up to 90 seconds for a 1 G link before loading the SGMII+ module, avoiding a race condition that could leave the link down. If no link appears (e.g., the SFP is hard-locked at 2.5 G), the module loads anyway. The script also backgrounds itself so it doesn't block other on_boot.d scripts.
  • Carrier wait status in UI - After deploying or rebooting, the tweak card now shows an informational note explaining the link wait period instead of immediately showing an error state.
  • Zyxel frame size corrected - Updated the onu lanpcs command in the Zyxel compatibility instructions to use frame size 9990 instead of 1518.

Wi-Fi Optimizer

  • Channel Issues tab shows full details - Issue entries on the Channel Issues tab now show their detail text, matching the behavior of the main audit issues list.
