github Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer v1.14.2

6 hours ago

New tabbed WAN History charts for latency, loaded latency, and jitter. See v1.14.0 release notes for what's new in v1.14.0+

WAN Speed Test

  • Tabbed WAN History charts - The Speed History section is now "WAN History" with four tabs: Speed, Latency, Loaded Latency, and Jitter. All tabs share the same time slider and WAN filter badges. Loaded Latency shows base, loaded-down, and loaded-up series with distinct dash patterns so you can see bufferbloat at a glance.

  • Smoother progress bar - Fixed the progress bar jumping backwards during gateway WAN speed tests, and trimmed about 2 seconds from the animation to better match actual test duration.

Adaptive SQM

  • WAN Steering included in installers - The wansteer gateway binary was missing from both Windows MSI and macOS native installers, so deploying WAN Steering would fail with "binary not found". Now included in both.

Installation

Windows: Download the MSI installer below

Docker:

docker compose pull && docker compose up -d

macOS (native, recommended for accurate speed tests vs Docker Desktop):

git clone https://github.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer.git && cd NetworkOptimizer && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh
# or if you already have it cloned
cd NetworkOptimizer && git pull && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh

Proxmox:

bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer/main/scripts/proxmox/install.sh)"

For other platforms (Synology, QNAP, Unraid, native Linux), see the Deployment Guide.
