Wi-Fi Optimizer
Signal Map
- Signal-adjusted heatmap - Toggle the "Signal Data" button to overlay real client signal measurements on the propagation map, per AP-client connection. Each AP's model is calibrated against measured data, revealing problem spots, obstructions, and more accurately reflecting RF propagation where you have the data for it.
- Signal data time filter - Filter signal data markers by time range so you can focus on recent measurements or look at historical data.
- Band persistence - The selected band is remembered across sessions so you don't have to reselect it each time.
Roaming
- Deterministic roaming topology layout - APs in the roaming topology diagram are now sorted by name, so the layout is consistent across page loads.
Speed Test Map
- LAN speed test results in AP popup - AP markers on the speed test map now show recent LAN speed test results for that AP.
Settings
- SSH setup guide improvements - Fixed mobile app SSH navigation paths and clarified SSH setup instructions.
Installation
Windows: Download the MSI installer below
Docker:
docker compose pull && docker compose up -dmacOS (native, recommended for accurate speed tests vs Docker Desktop):
git clone https://github.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer.git && cd NetworkOptimizer && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh
# or if you already have it cloned
cd NetworkOptimizer && git pull && ./scripts/install-macos-native.shProxmox:
bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer/main/scripts/proxmox/install.sh)"For other platforms (Synology, QNAP, Unraid, native Linux), see the Deployment Guide.
