OpenWhispr 1.11.0
Teams can now share a dictionary, the assistant can follow skills you keep for recurring work, and a bunch of new models.
🌟 Highlights
- 📚 Shared team dictionary — Business and Enterprise members get their team's words in dictation and meeting notes. Your own words still come first.
- 🧩 Skills — Save instructions for recurring work in Integrations → Skills. The assistant picks a fitting skill on its own.
- 🤖 New models — GPT-6.1 Sol, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Claude 5.5 on Bedrock, Gemma 4, Qwen3.8 and more. Older models keep working if you already use them.
- 🏢 Workspace switcher — Switch workspaces and invite people from the sidebar. Your account now lives under your avatar in the top bar.
- ⚡ Whisper GPU fallback — Whisper checks that CUDA or Vulkan actually started and falls back to CPU if not.
🛠 Fixes
- The app now starts after a second account signs in on the same device.
- On macOS, slow apps get your transcript, not your old clipboard. On Windows, AltGr no longer triggers Ctrl+Alt hotkeys.
- Meeting transcripts survive recording again, uploaded audio lands in the Transcript tab, and meeting prompts show up when they should.
- Dictionary sync no longer drops words on a new device, and moved folders keep their chats.
- Linux: paste works in Omarchy agent terminals, and Hyprland configs are written safely.
