The first release candidate of OpenTodo 1.0. Its code is the same as 0.24.0: 1.0 adds no feature. It is the release where the stability promise starts, with the threat model, how we verify it and the documented limits, the accessibility statement, the performance budgets checked every night, and the 1.0 docs.
Please test the upgrade and your daily use, and report what breaks. Back up first. Then run ghcr.io/opentodoapp/opentodo:1.0.0-rc.1 on a copy of your data, sign in on your devices, and check sync, reminders, imports and the integrations you use. A candidate is a pre-release: it does not move stable, is not sent to app stores, and needs no store update.
Still pending before 1.0.0: the screen-reader passes (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and the reference-device performance record, both on real devices.
