This is a minor firmware update. Updating across minor revisions (e.g., from 2.2.1(0) to this version) will preserve all existing settings and programs. Updating across major revisions (e.g., from 2.1.9 or 2.2.0) will trigger a factory reset, including WiFi settings. Before updating, please export a copy of your current configurations to ensure you can restore them in case a factory reset is triggered.
Major Changes
- For OSPi v2: added support for LCD and buttons.
- Program Start Days now include two new types: Single-Run and Monthly. The Single-Run type works similarly to the previous "Run-Once" program, but it also supports repeating start times.
- Ordering of Stations in a Program now allows you to use program name annotations to define the order in which stations run. Previously, stations ran based solely on their index in the program. Now, you can configure the program to run stations in ascending or descending order by name, index, randomly, or in alternating patterns (e.g., odd-numbered runs in one order and even-numbered runs in reverse order).
- Flow Alert allows using a station name annotation to set a flow rate threshold. When the flow rate exceeds this threshold after the station completes its run, a flow alert notification is triggered. (#252)
- Notification Events: two additional events are added – Station Start, and Flow Alert. In this firmware, Notification Events selections apply to all of MQTT, Email, and IFTTT (previously they did not apply to MQTT).
- Weather Adjustment now lets users select a custom weather data provider from a list of options, including Apple (default), AccuWeather, PirateWeather, OpenWeatherMap, OpenMeteo, DWD (German locations only), and WUnderground (requires a PWS station location). All providers support the ETo adjustment method.
- Pause Control: When the controller is paused, you can now extend, replace, or unpause from the app.
- RF Stations now support a wider range of protocols. Previously, only protocol 1 (the most common type) was supported. Now, all protocol types available in the rc-switch library are compatible.
- OTC status is now displayed on the LCD, allowing for easy monitoring of the OTC connection.
- For OpenSprinkler Latch: the firmware now supports custom booster voltage settings for turning on a latching solenoid and turning it off.
