What is new in v0.0.4-delta:
- Verified 3D In-Level Gameplay: Reached active gameplay in Gateway Galaxy (starting planet). Mario character model, Star Bunny dialogue ("C'mon! Jump with (A)!"), HUD elements, and planet geometry render with full Hor+ ultrawide perspective on Vulkan 1.0.
- Interactive Controls Verified: Real-time response verified with virtual on-screen A-button jumping and analog joystick movement across the flower field.
- Sustained 50+ FPS Performance: Measured sustained 49.4 – 52.5 FPS at 19.9 – 22.3 ms frametime on ARM Mali-G68, running stably through 36,000+ presented frames (over 6 million draw calls) with zero leaks at a steady 221 MB RAM footprint.
- Release-Signing Credential Remediation: Removed inline plaintext passwords from build scripts. Credentials are now passed securely through environment variables (
env:GALAXY_KEYSTORE_PASSand-storepass:env), and command logging sanitizes passwords automatically. - Strict Tester vs. Production Release Separation: Explicit
--channel testervs.--channel productionmodes across packaging, verification, and CI workflows. Production mode strictly rejectsandroid:debuggable="true", preventing accidental store publication of tester builds. - Disc Extraction Path Security: Enforced destination root containment checks (
path_security.cpp) preventing link escapes, directory traversal, and unauthorized filesystem writes during disc extraction. - 32-Byte Optical Read Alignment: Fixed DVD read validation for optical 32-byte alignment with zero-padding in
dvd_read.cpp, curing optical read hangs and file-validation crashes.
Legal Notice: You must provide your own legally dumped optical disc image. No proprietary assets are included.
