Galaxy Android v0.0.1d (Hotfix Update)

100% Native ARM64 Android Port

Fixes & Improvements in this Update

  • Target Frame Rate & Pacing: Resolved issue where frame rate was locked at 60 FPS. Enabled 30, 60, 90, 120, and 144 FPS presentation targets with VK_PRESENT_MODE_MAILBOX_KHR, dynamic window refresh rate matching, and immediate settings persistence.
  • Character Eyes Fixed: Restored 8-bit TEV alpha wrapping in Vulkan and OpenGL ES shader generators to fix missing or white eyes on Mario, Rosalina, Toads, and NPCs.
  • Mali GPU Lighting: Corrected specular and spotlight light attenuation calculations to eliminate blown-out white/cyan reflections and lighting glitches on ARM Mali GPUs (Mali-G52, Mali-G68, Dimensity, Helio).
  • Galaxy S24+ / Android 14 Stability: Resolved crash after Wii Safety Information screen by relocating Vulkan pipeline cache to internal storage, validating cache headers, and providing fallback to cacheless pipeline creation.
  • Sun Background Clipping: Removed Vulkan rasterizer depth clamping and applied vertex z-clamping to eliminate the dark rectangular quad over the sun and stars.
  • Performance & Stuttering: Replaced CPU spin-wait loops with standard sleep and moved frame pacing after presentation to eliminate throttling and stalls.

Features

  • Native Hor+ Ultrawide rendering (Vulkan 1.0 & OpenGL ES 3.2, zero emulation overhead)
  • High-refresh display support (30, 60, 90, 120, 144 FPS)
  • Frosted glass minimalist on-screen touch controls with dynamic joystick & laser tether
  • 1:1 direct finger tracking for Star Pointer & Star Bit gathering
  • Plug-and-play Bluetooth & USB gamepad support (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, Kishi, Backbone)
  • Unified standalone installer & engine
