Suit colour customisation, a touch layout editor on Android, fixes for the crash in the Meta Ridley fight, a batch of upstream Aurora graphics fixes, and Linux builds for aarch64.
You need your own disc image: Metroid Prime USA (GM8E01, revisions 1.00, 1.01 and 1.02) or the experimental PAL release (GM8P01). No disc image or game assets are included.
What changed
Customisation
- Suit colours can be changed, with a button for random colours (#175).
- The Fusion Suit can be worn from the F1 menu.
Android touch controls
- The layout editor lets you add/remove touch buttons (#92).
- Each control has its own opacity and can be hidden
Graphics
- Upstream Aurora fixes: texture minification and signed LOD bias, colour channel and texture-coordinate generation, packed TEV alpha comparisons, scissor box offsets, an ImGui texture upload race.
- A missing vertex colour reads as opaque white, as in Dolphin, which brings back the Boost Ball charge glow (#182).
- EFB alpha follows the pixel format, and partial copy clears and destination alpha are real, with a fallback to plain blending.
Savestates
- Ridley, Thardus, Flaahgra and Metroid Prime restore mid-fight, and a turning actor keeps its turn.
- States with a short blob or an unknown world are refused.
Fixes
- No more crash in the Meta Ridley fight (#181), and the credits fall back to the credits font when the disc lacks the Japanese one (#181).
- No more white square in the bottom-left corner in morph ball: the light shadow texture is copied from the right part of the frame.
- Remastered message screens keep their A button.
- The debug menu checks the whole disc image against its Redump release and can replace it.
- Short disc reads are retried; movie decoding, Trilogy saves, short USA saves and failed GCI imports are handled safely.
- Windows opens UTF-8 paths correctly; gyro and overlay navigation read the player's own pad.
Issues addressed
- #92 Customizable touch buttons
