What is new
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons: no longer stuck on a black screen. Two causes: query results the game reads back were written as zero, and its conditional rendering was decided wrongly on the GPU. Tested on Xbox Series up to the Nook Inc. counter at the start, 30 fps
- Conditional rendering back on the CPU: the GPU path added in 1.0.11 was one of the two Animal Crossing causes; measured on the console the change costs under 1 fps (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 29.8, Super Mario Bros. Wonder 30, Pokémon Legends Arceus 59.6)
Known issues: black sky in Sparking Zero, the Wonder 1-2 seed, Nextendo online (error when entering online play).
NxbHelper (preview)
The NxbHelper zip files are a companion app that prepares a USB drive or sends your own games to NXbox through Device Portal. It is still in development: it may not work and has not been fully tested. You do not need it to use NXbox.
