Beta: Luna Player 1.6.3CC. Installed Luna offers it only with betas turned on (Settings › General › Updates). For everyone else, 1.3.9 stays the current version.

New

• Luna Web, a browser inside Luna:
  • Tabs, favourites, tab search (Ctrl+Shift+A), reorder, duplicate, reopen closed tabs (Ctrl+Shift+T), saved tab groups.
  • Translate a page, summarise it or ask about it. On a YouTube video the assistant reads the video's subtitles, so the summary is about what is said.
  • Downloads are allowed: a Downloads drop-down in Tools with Open and Show in folder (programs and scripts are only shown in their folder).
  • Browser extensions: put an unpacked Chrome/Edge extension into the extensions folder (Tools › Extensions) and new tabs load it.
  • Web notebook: a reading queue and page notes, with "continue where I stopped".
• Books: cover and details search (ISBN or title and author; Open Library, then Google Books), several shelves, "To read", a reading plan, a quote notebook, reading history search and export.
• Music: playlists can be made, imported, exported, copied and sorted; queue editing; audiobooks remember the chapter and position.
• Films: filters for release period and lowest TMDB score, comfortable or dense posters, search across title, year and cast.
• Assistant: quick AI profile picker, short / balanced / detailed answers, copy a message, edit and resend a question, search inside the chat, export the chat as Markdown, "Back to the latest message".

Fixed

• Luna Web's assistant bubble failed to open (WebView2 0x8007139F) and stayed under the page; the Tools menu no longer turns the page black.
• Switching films no longer writes one film's position onto the other; the next episode no longer jumps to a second copy of the same episode.
• Shuffle with the same song twice, cancelled library scans, radio and podcast retries, backup restore checks.
• The assistant bubble sits a little higher.
