Beta: Luna Player 1.4.5CC. Installed Luna offers it only with betas turned on (Settings › General › Updates). For everyone else, 1.3.9 stays the current version.
New
- Library: sort films and series by A–Z, year or TMDB rating; filter by genre, unmatched files or titles with several copies; the search also matches the year.
- Collections: search collections, and filter inside an open one by title, author, year or note.
- Letterboxd lists: a minimum friend-rating filter, a button that opens the list on Letterboxd, a counter, and keyboard opening (Enter/Space).
Fixed
- Small window: leaving full screen no longer blows the window back up to the size of the screen (a 1.4.3 bug).
- Backup and restore: a wrong-shaped backup, a full storage or a failed save no longer wipes or half-restores your data.
- API keys: a key that can't be saved or deleted now shows an error.
- Collections: the right year, episode and book open; YouTube songs play; two collections can't share a name.
- Updates: the beta and auto-check switches are respected; a retry after a failed download works.
- Read aloud: pause, speed, voice, "stop at chapter end" and resume fixed; only listened time is counted.
- YouTube: a broken direct link falls back instead of looping.
- Letterboxd: remakes stay apart (Dune 1984 / 2021), "hide watched" knows years, fake addresses and bad star values are rejected, no wrong posters.
- Torrents: cancelling no longer deletes files; the download stays in Downloads.
- Wikisource books: no crash on odd characters, long chapters stay valid, a failed chapter stops the save.
- Checks: 37 regression tests now run on every GitHub build.
