github Nonary/ResolutionAutomation v3.0

pre-releaseone month ago

We're getting ready to launch a new update for resolution automation, featuring some significant improvements:

  1. 10-bit HDR Compatibility: Introduces a feature that lets you activate 10-bit color on dummy plugs, provided this option is turned on.
  2. Settings Overhaul: We've reorganized and streamlined the settings for a better user experience.
  3. Improved Installation Process: The installation now follows a specific sequence, which prevents errors like installing the resolution script before swapping monitors.
  4. Enhanced Script Installation: The installation script now functions even for users who have disabled User Account Control (UAC)—though we strongly advise against disabling UAC.

Please note, however, that the readme has not yet been updated to reflect these changes. You might need to rely on trial and error to figure things out. For most adjustments, you'll be editing the settings.json file, which is straightforward in most cases.

DO NOT USE THIS RELEASE IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON BETA TESTING: Use the stable version instead, however if you don't mind testing, feel free to use this version.
