• ⚡ Workflow Automation
  Workflows are now available in Alga PSA for the very first time, introducing a powerful new way to automate repeatable MSP processes and reduce manual work. This release candidate introduces the foundation of the Automation Hub experience: an editable catalog of workflows, templates, and events, setting the stage for scalable, consistent automation across tickets and beyond.

• 🧩 Ticket Bundling
  Tickets can now be bundled to keep related issues connected and easier to manage as a unit. This is especially helpful for incident-style work where multiple tickets need to stay linked while still being worked independently.

• ⏳ New Ticket Parameter: “Waiting for Response”
  Added a new ticket option to better reflect real-world MSP workflows when a ticket is blocked on a customer reply, vendor update, or external confirmation, without forcing teams to close or mislabel work in progress.

• 🧾 Resume Draft Contracts in the Contract Wizard
  The contract wizard now supports resuming in-progress drafts, allowing teams to pick up where they left off and keep billing workflows moving without needing to restart setup.

• 📥 Project Task Import + Task Discovery
  Projects now support importing tasks to help teams get up and running faster, along with improved keyword search and filtering.

• 💱 Ticket Materials
  Tickets now support a materials section with multi-currency pricing and accurate per-currency totals, making it easier to represent real costs when products and pricing vary across regions or vendors.

• 🧱 Major Platform Foundation Upgrade
  Alga PSA has undergone a major internal modularity upgrade, laying the groundwork for faster iteration, cleaner feature expansion, and more reliable long-term scalability—without changing how users work day-to-day.

🐞 Fixes

• Fixed project task updates where task type changes could silently fail to persist during edits.

• Resolved contract wizard rate conversion issues to ensure draft fixed-fee rates are displayed and saved accurately.

• Improved Microsoft 365 OAuth credential selection behavior for self-hosted deployments.

• Corrected time entry duration edge cases to prevent invalid 24+ hour values and improve validation consistency.

• The client screen now includes an Assets tab with improved navigation via drawer-based details.

🎨 UX & Polish

• Refined ticket list filtering across MSP views and client portal views with a unified, cleaner toolbar layout, improved spacing, and sticky filters for better usability during high-volume triage.

• Improved project task search readability with highlighting and smart expand/collapse behavior, keeping results scannable even in dense project boards.

• Added document attachment support during project task creation, including clearer handling of uploaded files and cleanup prompts when canceling edits.

• Enhanced client portal interactions and layout polish, including dropdown behavior and avatar handling improvements.

🔐 Stability & Security

• Improved overall platform reliability across tickets, projects, and automations—especially during high-activity periods.  

• Strengthened sign-in and authentication consistency to reduce edge-case login issues and improve long-running session stability.

📊 Dev & Infra

• Expanded internal workflow testing coverage to help ensure workflow automation behaves consistently as we approach 1.0.  

• Improved build and deployment reliability to support faster iteration and smoother release delivery.  

• Strengthened system validation checks across editions (CE vs EE) to ensure each environment ships with the right feature set.

• Completed a major modular architecture refactor across core product areas, improving maintainability and enabling future features to ship faster and more safely.

📖 Notes for Users.

• Workflows are brand new and still evolving—this is the best time to explore the Automation Hub, test real scenarios, and help shape the final 1.0 experience.

• Workflows are currently behind an experimental toggle. The first time you open Automation Hub → Workflows, you’ll be prompted to visit Experimental Features to enable them.
