A fix release, and the first one that answers reports from outside. SMART keeps playing, deleting a track works on every Android this app supports, and Language in Settings leads somewhere. Still fully on-device: no account, no catalogue, no network — nothing about your listening leaves the phone.
Fixed
- 🔁 SMART no longer stops. The queue used to end whenever the recommender could not answer, and since it only refills as tracks change, nothing ever asked again — one unlucky moment ended the session for good, and Shuffle from the Tracks page was the only way back. Playback now continues with tracks you have not heard, labelled in the queue as exactly that and never passed off as recommendations, and real ones resume at the very next track. A queue that already ran out reopens by itself.
- 🧠 Several of the silences behind that are gone outright — a failed index checkpoint that escaped as an error, a plan whose tracks had all been played, a warm-up threshold a long session could never reach, and duplicate detection that rejected different songs sharing a title and counted every untagged file as one artist. A fully analysed library keeps its queue filled.
- 🗑️ Deleting a track works on every supported Android version. Below Android 11 it did nothing at all, in silence. Android 10 now asks for each file and deletes it, Android 9 and older ask for file access at the moment of the delete and never before, and Android 11 and newer keep the system's own confirmation. A delete that cannot happen says why instead of looking like a dead button, and a confirmation interrupted by the system is reconciled against what is actually on the device rather than lost.
- 🌐 Language opened the app info page on every version — a dead end before Android 13, where per-app languages do not exist. It now opens the per-app language screen where there is one, and the system language list where there is not.

Download LatentJam-v0.4.1-arm64.apk (94 MB — right for virtually every phone from the last decade; if unsure, pick this one). LatentJam-v0.4.1-armv7.apk exists for old 32-bit devices. Open it on your phone — it upgrades any earlier release in place. You'll need to allow installing unknown apps, and tap through Play Protect's sideload warning. Requires Android 7.0+.

LatentJam-v0.4.1-unsigned.ipa is an unsigned build: sideload it with AltStore, Sideloadly or similar (they re-sign it with your Apple ID). Built for iOS 15+, arm64.
⚠️ Still an early experimental build for sideloading — not a store release. SMART becomes good once a chunk of your library has been analysed in the background.
