⚠️ This is a beta release intended for testing.
This beta gives you more ways to follow a session without overcrowding your Home Assistant dashboard. A new tyre history view shows each driver’s known stints as colour-coded bars, with expandable details that distinguish laps driven in the stint from the tyres’ total age. Optional minimal timing layouts bring compact rows, combined GAP/INT columns and qualifying views that follow the current session part. Existing cards keep their current presentation.
You can also show Race Control’s published rain-risk percentage in Overview and Weather, or use the new sensor in your own dashboards and automations. Optional event focus lets you inspect verified timeline events and share the selection between cards, including matching laps in Race Trace. Event times and ordering are more consistent, and republished Race Control messages no longer create duplicate timeline entries.
For this beta, try tyre history across tyre changes and replay seeks, and compare the timing layouts on your phone and larger dashboards. Feedback on event focus with Live Delay and No Spoiler is especially useful. Rain risk appears only when Race Control provides an assessment for the session, and tyre history may be incomplete when earlier data is unavailable.
New features
- Add session rain risk to the integration and live data card

The F1 Sensor integration identifies race control events more accurately, and the live data card lets you inspect and share verified events with Race Trace. - Add optional minimalist timing views
The live data card adds compact timing, expandable driver details, qualifying focus and status badges, The F1 Sensor integration also handles multiple penalties more reliably when it is unclear which penalty has been served. - Add tyre history view to the modular live data card
The live data card gains compact, colour-coded tyre strategy bars with expandable details for current and previous stints and an optional tyre compound legend.
Bug fixes
- Correct event times in the integration and live data card
The F1 Sensor integration and live data card now show event times consistently and sort timed events correctly. Event details also respect your Home Assistant time settings. - Prevent duplicate Race Control timeline events
Republished Race Control messages now remain a single timeline event in the F1 Sensor integration. Existing event details are preserved, and event focus is cleared when the viewing context changes.
