F1 Sensor – v4.3.0-beta.3
⚠️ This is a beta release intended for testing.
Bug fixes
-
Correct live timing start when official session times change late
The integration now checks a more current Formula 1 schedule source before starting live timing for near-term sessions. This prevents live timing from starting late when the published index schedule has not yet been updated after a session time change. Existing setups continue to work without any configuration changes. -
Keep live timing connected during corrected session schedules
The integration now preserves recently confirmed corrected session timing while a live session is active. This helps live timing reconnect reliably after temporary interruptions, even if the primary schedule still has the old start time and the fallback schedule is briefly unavailable.
Maintenance
-
Update experimental authenticated live timing for expanded race coverage
F1 Sensor now includes an experimental authenticated live timing feature that are beening tested as an early way to unlock more live race data during active sessions. Read more here - Looking for testers for experimental F1TV auth support -
Make experimental F1TV access available outside development mode
F1TV access is now available as an optional experimental setup path without enabling development mode. The Token Helper connection is presented as the recommended flow, while manual token entry remains available as an advanced backup. Public live timing continues to work by default without F1TV access, and development-only replay and diagnostic controls remain hidden in normal use.
