F1 Sensor – v4.3.0-beta.2
⚠️ This is a beta release intended for testing.
Bug fixes
- Prevent season result sensors from failing when data is temporarily unavailable
Season result entities now handle missing upstream data gracefully instead of raising errors during state updates. This keeps dashboards and automations stable when season results are blocked or temporarily unavailable.
Maintenance
-
Add clearer tyre statistics waiting status
Tyre statistics now show when live timing data is present but tyre compound data has not yet arrived from the upstream feed. This makes it easier to understand delayed tyre data during live sessions without mistaking it for an integration failure. -
Mark integration setup as config entry only
This resolves a Home Assistant validation warning by clearly declaring that F1 Sensor is configured through the UI. Existing setups continue to work as before, and unsupported YAML setup now follows Home Assistant’s standard guidance for config-entry-only integrations. -
Update experimental authenticated live timing for expanded race coverage
F1 Sensor now includes an experimental authenticated live timing feature that are beening tested as an early way to unlock more live race data during active sessions. Read more here - Looking for testers for experimental F1TV auth support
Other changes
- Update fi.json
- Update it.json
