A More Subtitle Friendly Tube Converter 🎞️

Release candidate 2 of V2023.9.1 is here!

Compared to RC1, this release just includes some backend improvements to the way we access system directories, network status, and taskbar icon APIs.

A Message To Translators 🌏️

A stable release is planned for Friday September 29, 2023. Please have all translations updated before then to be included in the release!

  • Added an option to disable embedding subtitles in a file and instead download them in a separate file (#597)
  • Added the ability to specify ""all"" in the subtitle languages list to download all available languages (#596)
  • Fixed an issue where empty subtitles were sometimes embedded (#599)
  • Fixed an issue where arte.tv links were not validating thanks to a yt-dlp update (#598 , #603)
  • If embedding subtitles fails, Parabolic will automatically save them to separate files instead (#597)
  • Updated translations (Thanks everyone on Weblate!)

Manually

  • Download the org.nickvision.tubeconverter-x64.flatpak file from the assets below
  • Run flatpak install org.nickvision.tubeconverter-x64.flatpak from the directory containing the .flatpak file
  • Run flatpak run org.nickvision.tubeconverter//master to start the app! (You should also see it in your app grid)
