🌄 Increase Minimum Supported Android Version to 8 ("Oreo")
Until today, Niagara Launcher supported Android versions all the way down to Android 5, originally released back in 2014. It has gotten increasingly difficult to support such old versions, so we're now requiring at least Android 8. This allows us to spend more time on new functionality instead of working around limitations of old versions. Devices running Android 5 to 7 will no longer receive updates, though Niagara Launcher will continue working on these devices with full functionality until at least January 2027.
