🔒 Add a shortcut to install apps in private space via the "Add to category" menu
Want to (re-)install an app in your private space (Android 15+)? Now you can simply long-press on an installed app, and select Private space in the Add to category menu. This will open the Play Store page for the app, allowing you to install it into your private space.
🫥 Prevent Duolingo and other apps that change their icons from disappearing from favorites or pop-up folders
Some apps have features to change their icon by switching between so-called activity aliases. Previously, Niagara Launcher would treat this as if you uninstalled one app and installed another app, which removed the app's old entry from your favorites and pop-up folders. With this update, Niagara Launcher now detects that this is the same app, and replaces the old entry in its place.
🎨 Reset theme color when applying a new wallpaper
After applying a new wallpaper, the theme color now switches back to Auto and automatically adjusts to fit your new background if you previously selected a color manually.
